Terms of Service

By accessing or using ATS Resume Pro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

ATS Resume Pro provides AI-powered resume building, cover letter generation, ATS optimization, and interview preparation tools. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We use Google's Gemini AI to power certain features. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be reviewed by you before use. We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, interview invitations, or job offers as a result of using the Service.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service ("User Content"), including resume text, personal information, and documents. By using the Service, you grant ATS Resume Pro a limited, non-exclusive license to: • Process and store your content to provide the Service • Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models • Display your content to you through the Service interface We will never sell your personal resume data to third parties or use identifiable information for advertising without your explicit consent.

You agree not to use the Service to: • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service using automated means • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas • Create false or misleading resume content that could be considered fraud • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service • Use the Service in ways that could harm other users or the platform

ATS Resume Pro offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans include limited features as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial periods, except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

The Service, including its design, features, branding, and AI models, is owned by ATS Resume Pro and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our resume templates are licensed for personal use only. You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense template designs. The ATS Resume Pro name and logo are registered trademarks and may not be used without written permission.

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. We are GDPR compliant and honor data subject rights including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. See our Privacy Policy for details on exercising these rights.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should always be reviewed before use. We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATS RESUME PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
